Vance High 6-4 junior basketball player Torin Dorn, has been offered his first scholarship by Charlotte, Vance coach Will Robinson said.
Dorn, the son of former UNC football player Torin Dorn, averaged 7 points per game last season at Vance. He carries a 4.0 GPA.
-- Former Vance player Al'lonzo Coleman is now playing pro ball in Argentina, Robinson said.
