So basically he donated the shoes to his coach, not a school. Doubt he has ever stepped foot on the Dutch Fork campus.

Is anyone ever happy...who cares who this player directly donated to or if he's stepped foot on campus. There are now 60-100 kids with cleats that their families did not have to pay for. If the donation came from a construction company or an insurance agency what would your post be then...nothing. Be happy that a pro athlete is giving back to the kids/athletes...thru a high school coach that is likely partially responsible for where this player is in life....it's called gratitude.

He donated the shoes to a coach who cares about his players plain and simple rather than a blow hard who yells and berates every kid he encounters........

No one can berate a kid more than Knotts. Coaches yell at kids to get their attemtion and make them better.

Berating and yelling are two different styles in coaching, i think we all know who hakeem thinks molded him into a better man and player and its not the sad tragedy currently patrolling the indy sideline
