I could not belive that Takhare Donalson # 20 who played strong safty he had 4 interceptions two for touchdowns, did not get this award ahead of Brandon Wilkerson who was a second string player and only played in nickle defenses and Matthew Browning who did not have more intercetions nor tackles. I am a fan and go to all the games of mallard Creek but could not belive this one!!

To bad we weren't able to see the true state championship between Mallard Creek and Butler.

With respect, the true state championship was December 11 and Butler won. Mallard Creek lost in the playoff to a good Vance team.

MallCreek would never have made the semis even though they didnt. Running up scores al season chasing and padding individual stats is counter production. Forget Butler, Wake Rolesville would have destroyed them.

Mecklenburg County all-star teams are a total farce. The list of players who aren't "all stars" is shorter than the list of those who are supposedly all stars.

Talk about cheapening the award for those truly deserving. Just think, some kid 20 years from now can say he was one of the nine best wide receivers or one of the 10 best defensive linemen in the IMECK.

These aren't all-star teams. They're a list of the top players on each team. That's NOT an all-star team.

Let's hope CMS comes to their senses and eliminates all sports programs to focuses on academics during this severe budget crisis.

Brandon Wilkerson had 6 or 7 interception this year and he was a sure tackler and starting safety for Mallard Creek for two season and Takhare Donaldson should be on the list but B Wilkerson deserves it more and also Matthew Browning didnt accumulate alot of stats because QB did not throw his way thats how good he was

Can the SW 4A, Offensive Specialist get his own line and have his name spelled right. (Demario Johnson)

ya know, not all high school sports lose money...

Yes, all hs sports lose money. Coaching salaries, equipment, officials, facilities, buses, etc. far overrun budget.
