As we hit the final week of high school soccer's regular-season, there are some big matches on tap locally.
MEGA 7: It's a two horse race with Charlotte Catholic and Olympic. The teams play at Catholic Monday at 6. Catholic is 12-1, 7-1 with lead on Olympic (11-9-1, 8-3). Catholic wins and it's champion.
Southwestern 4A: Myers Park (13-3, 10-2) is in the driver's seat after beating South Meck (12-4-3, 8-2-2) last week. Providence (11-5-4, 7-4-1) is in third place. All Myers Park has to do win the league title is win on the road at Independence Monday at 6.
I-Meck 4A: Close race here with two games left. Lake Norman (10-7-2, 9-2-1) has the lead over Hough (9-6-2, 8-2-2), Hopewell (11-4-4, 7-3-2) and Mallard Creek (10-9-2, 6-4-2).
Monday's big conference game is Hough at Lake Norman.
