First N.C. Private School All-Star games come to Providence Day Saturday

Providence Day will host the first N.C. private school all-star game Saturday. More than 100 players were nominated and a l committee selected 24 players for each game. The boys’ game will feature 14 players who have signed college scholarships. The girls’ game will have six scholarship players, including McDonald's All-American Jatarie White of Providence Day's girls team.

The girls game tips at 1, followed by the boys at approximately 2:30. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for students and free for kids 8-and-under.
