The Charlotte Country Day Varsity Baseball team is raising awareness and funds for the Susan B. Komen Foundation this Friday night at a home game versus Cannon School. The CCDS third annual “Strikeout Breast Cancer” game is at 7 pm at Ed Walton Field. The team will be in pink and they ask their fans to wear pink to the game.
Friday is also "Hope for a Cure" night at Hopewell. Hopewell's softball, lacrosse, baseball and softball teams will all support efforts to raise money for cancer awareness via T-shirt sales, silent auctions and more. Hopewell plays Hough in all sports beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Wow people can find there own idea really i understand it is for a good cause but West Meck had the idea in the Charlotte Observer along time and and now you think of something you wish you thought of it didn't you Hopewell and Country Day you can't stand the fact that West Meck had a great idea and they were on top so you had to do something.
Yeah really, shame on them for raising money for cancer research ... moron
Thank you...but im pretty sure that Hopewell has been doing a fundraiser for the past few years...Last year it was for ALS and the year before was for cancer. So dont think they are stealing West Meck's idea....Just be happy that everyone has great ideas for a good cause...Idiot
West Meck is trying to bring awareness and support our parents, families, fans and community battling cancer. We are not the first to do this and we will not be the last. The more fundraising and awareness the better !!!! Let's all pull together and support each other!!!!
Hey 9:40...it's a nationwide charity event. Get over yourself.
