Hough High cornerback Corey Bell, a 5-foot-10 junior, committed to North Carolina Tuesday, Huskies athletics director Masanori Toguchi told the Observer.
Bell is ranked as a three-star recruit (out of five) by national recruiting service scout.com, which touts him as "one of the top cornerbacks in North Carolina."
He was part of a 10-2 team last season. He had 16 tackles and two interceptions. He averaged 25 per punt return.
