Providence High offensive lineman Bentley Spain has been selected to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
The game will be played Jan. 4 in San Antonio and broadcast live on NBC.
Spain, a North Carolina-commit, is one of 90 football players from across the country selected to play in the game. He will be honored during a presentation at the school at 1:45 p.m. Nov. 15.
The 6-foot-6, 292-pound tackle is the No. 10 senior recruit in the state and No. 12 senior offensive tackle in the country, according to ESPN.
Charlotte Catholic's Elijah Hood has also been selected to play in the game.
Providence High baritone player Connor Barnette was selected to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Marching Band. He will be honored at the same presentation with Spain.
Hickory Ridge's Samantha Barringer was also selected to participate in the marching band as a color guard member. She will be recognized at the school Nov. 13.
Earlier this week, Charlotte Catholic's Elijah Hood was also picked to the US Army game.
