North Meck to honor past champions

North Mecklenburg will honor its former champions during the school’s home football game with West Charlotte Sept. 21.

North Meck is asking all former Vikings who have won a high school championship as an individual or a team to come to the game Friday and be honored at halftime. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

The former athletes will receive a free gift from the school’s athletic boosters.
