All Porter Ridge has done is beaten up on 1a, 2a, and 3a teams. They have played close games in the playoffs against decent teams. Just ask Sun Valley who is better...PR or Richmond or PR or Mallard Creek. No comparison. They will get hammered this week.

WOW....Lincolnton still doesn't get any respect from Langston. All everyone kept talking about was Thomasville's running back averaging over 220 yards per game and being the best in the state. Against Lincolnton he got stuffed and maybe picked up 60. Lincolnton has had to play their 2nd, 3rd and even J.V. players this year as not to embarass other teams and coaches. Only loss coming from a very good South Point team.

All I have to ask anonymous 7:21 is Who beat Sun Valley and who is still playing football?

Porter Ridge will have a rude awakening when the country boys from Scotland County get to Winston-Salem on Saturday They will see what 14 other teams have seen this year.If anyone else from Charlotte area want to see a well coached group of very good athletes con on up to BB&T field.

It is funny how everyone hates on a team that is winning like porter ridge. They give my 3a team a beat down and i was totally impressed how good they are. It isn't like a school can travel these days to play bigger teams miles away, i guess some people are not smart enough to know that school budgets are hurting. They have handled everyone in front of them and don't be shocked if they do it again next week. If not they have still had a better year than most of these haters teams.

The Pirates are 9-1 against 4A competition since last year. There goes yet another Porter Ridge myth! Best record in the state over the past 2 years!

I also like how the bitter, irrelevant Spartan fan tried talking smack when the Pirates not only beat them at home once again but also beat the team that crushed them last week.

One last thing Spartan fan, your irrelevant school has been around since 1961 and has never reached a state title game. We've been around since 2005 and here we are already. Why don't you swallow that one down for size.

Porter Ridge will take a severe beating from Scotland County, end of story!!! Sorry Porker Ridge, nothing personal but Scotland is simply better by as much as 28 points.

The small merchant robbers of Porter Ridge will be brought to justice by the fighting Scots.

Panty Ridge is going to get stuffed by the men of Scotland County.

I am thrilled to say that Scotland County will absolutely disembowell Porter Ridge...

Mr. Wertz, as the parent of one of the soon to be disembowelled Porter Ridge Pirates, I believe you owe our team an apology for using such abusive language on this forum!!!

Why do all you porter ridge silly nannys get so defensive when someone calls out your team? arguing over the internet is like running in the special olympics. even if you when, you're still retarded.

The only common opponent between PR and Scotland is Anson. PR won 49-7, Scotland 56-0. This is comprable, especially since several PR players couldn't play that game and the offensive starters rotated out during the second half. The Pirates have a lot of offense held back for the state championship; Hardin has tried to show as little of his playbook as possible throughout playoffs. Don't count the pirates out yet.
