Former Indy QB transfers to Victory Christian

Jarri McCoy-Williams, a former quarterback at Independence, has enrolled at Victory Christian, Kings coach Frank Crockett said.

He was academically ineligible at Indy (or for CMS) this year.

Looks as if Victory Christain is becoming the 2nd choice for football players that can't play for CMS. First Jarri for not having the grades then Lemay for getting a 30 day out of school suspension. Who's next.

So we are allowed to comment on this story? But not on the Butler QB.

Victory Christian has always been the landing spot for guys like this. However, they still never put a quality team on the field even though they have way more talent than anybody they play. With the skill players they have every year, only to lose to Latin and Country Day by 40+ points every year goes to show you how important coaching is at this level.

true,,we can comment on this and the things that happen at Butler last week, but the CO closes any comments on Lemay,,whats up LW

You cant comment on the Lemay situation because Lanston is up their butts!!!!!!!!so now we can make a comment.....thats laughable....are we living in Venezuela where we can only comment on what the paper allows!!!!

Every reporter knows what Lemay did, yet they are all still treating him with kid gloves. He is despicable, and not worthy of the great tradition at BHS. I remember comments being allowed during the SouthMeck scandal, and for the Indy player some time ago. Guess money/politics do still talk.

He was academically inelgible as well as moving out of the district for Indy. I'm sure Victory Christian will truly help his academicics, which is more important than football. I'm sure we all can agree on that.
