West Rowan, Hough join girls basketball Sweet 16

In the girls poll, West Rowan (2-0) and first-year Hough (4-0) join in.

West Rowan is off to a 2-0 start, led by Ayana Avery, the area’s leading scorer. Avery averages 29 points per game. Hough, which has won three games by at least 16 points, gets a combined 30 points from Anna Diggs, Julia Brown and Kelsey Dean.

Who has Hough High School played to get such high recognition already? You are joking right?
Not another infatuation with another unproven coach up in that part of town. Would bet that they lose tonight against us- Myers Park- Go Stangs!

Hough struggled against Olympic. Maybe they wont be last in the conference (see WC and Vance)

How is Concord ranked higher than Lake Norman when Lake Norman beat them? And where is Robinson? The only team they lost to is #1 Butler.

What about Piedmont. the only loss they have is to Berry, They beat north stanley and porter ridge?
