They have a fine coach and a lot of young talent returning. With a Phi Beta Kappa chapter and several Rhodes scholars, Wofford is an outstanding educational institution as well. Gordon has made a great choice. If he works hard, he could have a lot of success at the next level.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-538710650323519584.post-38391564567854313222012-05-01T01:30:05.555-04:002012-05-01T01:30:05.555-04:00For the record: Gordon had offers from Wofford, VM...For the record: Gordon had offers from Wofford, VMI, The Citadel, Presbyterian, Hampton, Gardner Webb, and New Hampshire not to mention interest from several other D1 Schools! Under NCA and Dinkins' watch, he has made tremendous strides on and off the court! Northside, the players and parents give him rave reviews. He demands and in turn treats players with respect. He sets a high level of expectation of the players on and off the court. He coaches from a holistic perspective (student, athlete, young man). He's getting great results and should be commended!

VMI and Wofford are both great academic institutions and anyone would be lucky to have the choice between two great but very different college experiences! Kudos to Gordon and those who were positive influences on him along the way!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-538710650323519584.post-65374441960475622602012-04-30T07:30:24.389-04:002012-04-30T07:30:24.389-04:00How do you know that the kid just did not want to ...How do you know that the kid just did not want to go to VMI and that Wofford was just a better fit? Watching the kids that play for Dinkins the past two years, every single one of them would run through a wall for him. Oh and did I fail to mention that Gordon also will be wearing a state championship ring!!! Congrats Justin!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-538710650323519584.post-57352593397822052412012-04-29T21:13:35.936-04:002012-04-29T21:13:35.936-04:00Had opportunities at Mallard Creek as he did at No...Had opportunities at Mallard Creek as he did at Northside. I guess everything Dinkins promised wasn't delivered...no surprise...He had offers from VMI when he was at Mallard Creek..Why would a kid choose Wofford over VMI??? VMI leads the nation in scoring and puts kids into the league...what has Wofford done?? Again, these private schools and their promises...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
